CAAP-Estrie is a regional community organization, holding a mandate from the Minister of Health ans Social Services

to

assist users, their legal representatives or legal heirs in their complaint lodging process.

This complaint can be filed with:

A university hospital center;

A Health and Social Services center, including the hospital center, the CLSC ans the CHSLD;

A rehabilitation Center ;

A youth Center ;

A community organization;

An ambulance company;

A family or private nursing home;

A certified private residence for the elderly ;

An intermediate resource;

L'Agence de la santé et des services sociaux;

Le Protecteur du citoyen: healthcare and social services;

It also assists the above-mentioned groups of interests whose complaint has been filed with the Council of physicians, dentists and pharmacists of the establishment (CMPD) .
